Tip Of The Day 05-11-12

When switching your toddler from thick sturdy board books to books with much thinner paper pages use coloring books at first. You can find cheap coloring books at dollar stores and in dollar spots that have all the same favorite Disney and Sesame Street characters as the more expensive coloring books found in the magazine aisles. This helped my toddler learn to turn pages without tearing them, while keeping her quietly entertained so I could make dinner many nights! K.
